Startup brand Digitstole has launched a fundraising campaign to launch interactive insoles on the market. Contrary to the already established ideas about "smart" insoles, which are equipped with all kinds of pressure sensors, accelerometer, gyroscope and even a compass, the Digitstole insole is designed to heat the foot.
The shoe gadget is equipped with a built-in Bluetooth module and requires a connection to a mobile device supporting the 4.0 protocol. A special application for iOS and Android operating systems will allow you to adjust the temperature, the maximum value of which can reach 40 ° C. This will prevent your feet from freezing even in the most severe frost.
In addition, as befits any "smart" thing, the insole, in addition to the heating function, will also be able to determine the distance traveled, and the mobile software will automatically calculate the calories expended to overcome the distance.
The design of the insole, based on its direct purpose, was made quite thin - the mass of Digitstole does not exceed 100 g. The main issue with such parameters is the maximum autonomy that the built-in battery can support. According to the developers, a battery with the ability to recharge using a microUSB cable will provide warmth to your feet for a period of seven hours to several days, depending on the selected temperature regime.
The authors of the idea for the successful implementation of a startup need to raise $ 40 thousand, of which a little more than $ 59 thousand was received for 4,5 days before the end of the financing.
