The Dior x Birkenstock collaboration was presented during the Dior Fall/Winter 2022/23 menswear show at Paris Fashion Week. The German comfort shoe brand continues to dominate fashion.
Dior Men creative director Kim Jones worked on two key silhouettes from the German brand's collection - the Arizona sandal and the Boston clog. As a result, two new models were born - Tokio clogs and Milano sandals. Both new silhouettes are finished in Dior Gray, a color palette that echoes the French luxury brand's Fall 22 menswear collection, and are also available in Milky, Beige and Brown.
Tokio's clog upper is crafted from gray felt with suede overlays and overlays, and is embellished with floral embroidery by Parisian atelier Broderies Vermont.
The Milano sandal takes its shape from the Birkenstock Arizona model and features a mix of felt and suede uppers. Metal studs and rubber buckles with the Dior logo create accents. Both logos of the collaboration brands are present on the insole of the shoe.
