Dr. Martens has released a collaboration with heavy metal band Metallica.

The Dr. Martens x Metallica collaboration has released two footwear styles for the heavy metal band's devoted fans. The collection includes the 1460 boot, printed with graphics from two of Metallica's 1980s world tours, and the same model in black with an embossed band logo on the ankle and "5th Member" lettering on the heel.

"5th Member" is a name Metallica uses to refer to their fans, considering them an integral part of the band.

Both styles feature yellow stitching along the welt. The 1460 features an AirWair heel loop and a special Metallica eyelet design. They will be available on January 29th at drmartens.com and in all Dr. Martens retail stores.
