Two pairs of classic Dr. boots Martens received a new reading by designing the top of the shoe with prints from fragments of paintings by William Blake, a British artist who drew inspiration from politics, mysticism and occultism, writes Footwearnews.

The limited collection of the brand has become part of the partnership of Dr. Martens with the Tate British art gallery, the brand used excerpts from Blake’s paintings that are stored in the museum. In addition to two pairs of shoes, the capsule collection also includes a bag, a backpack and two T-shirts.
The famous eight-eyed Dr. Martens is adorned with an excerpt from Blake’s famous painting “The Devil Afflicting Job with Leprosy” (1826). The retail price of this pair is $ 150. Three-eyed Oxfords Dr. Martens presents an excerpt from Blake’s painting “The House of Death” (1795), the retail price of this pair is $ 130.
Prices for a leather bag, backpack and limited edition T-shirts range from $ 50 to $ 270. The entire collection is presented in stores and on the brand website.
