One of the major distributors of the Russian fashion market, JamilKo, whose portfolio includes such brands as Timberland, New Balance, DKNY, Escada and others, is going to bring three new Turkish brands to the Russian market - Ipekyol, Machka and Twist, writes Kommersant with reference to sources in the commercial real estate market.
The company itself does not comment on the appearance of new brands from Turkey in its portfolio. However, already in October, stores under the Ipekoyl and Twist brands should open in the capital's Afimall shopping center. Both of them belong to the mid-price category, and in addition to fashionable clothes, their collections also include shoes.
The third brand Machka produces women's clothing and accessories in the luxury segment.
"Jamilco" founded in 1993, its main owner is Khaled Jamil. The company is a distributor of New Balance, Kiko, DKNY, Timberland, Wolford, Juicy Couture, Wrangler, Lee, Escada brands. Manages more than 150 stores in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Sochi and Rostov-on-Don and develops a dealer network. The revenue of IFC Jamilko JSC for 2021 amounted to 11,2 billion rubles, net profit - 1,2 billion rubles.
