eBay considers profit

The largest online auction, eBay Corporation, reported on the financial results of the year. According to the report, the company's net profit on an annualized basis decreased by 19% and amounted to $ 2,6 billion. EBay revenue reached $ 14 billion, showing growth in 21%.

The company explains the drop in net profit by the fact that in 2011, when calculating it, the funds received from the transaction on the sale of a share in the Skype service were taken into account.

In general, the past year for eBay is called very successful, especially highlighting the fourth quarter with traditionally high demand for goods.

According to forecasts for 2013, the company's revenue may amount to about $ 16-16,6 billion.
