Obuv Rossii Group of Companies became the first company in Siberia to be included in the corporate development support program implemented by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
Within the framework of the program, regional enterprises can receive support in preparing business plans, switching to IFRS, developing financial models and other areas of development.
To implement the program, the EBRD uses technical assistance funds provided by the Russian government on the basis of an agreement with the EBRD, which was signed as part of the International Economic Forum in St. Petersburg. In the summer of 2013, the Russian government for the first time created a special fund from which 40 million euros will be allocated over five years, most of which will be used to finance the preparation of EBRD projects in Russia.
“For us, participation in the EBRD program is an important stage in the development of the company, since we are given the opportunity to improve the organizational structure, improve the quality of corporate governance, financial reporting and long-term planning,” said Anton Titov, director of Obuv Rossii Group. - Ultimately, these steps will help to increase the investment attractiveness of our business.
