ECCO started accepting PayPass

The Danish shoe brand ECCO will provide visitors to Russian chain stores the opportunity to pay for purchases using special MasterCard PayPass technology.

In the near future, terminals for MasterCard PayPass contactless payments will be launched in ECCO stores. The essence of the new payment method is that the PayPass chip can be embedded in a bank card or in any other item that the client carries with him (for example, a watch or a phone). To make a purchase, you just need to touch such an object with a chip to the terminal, and the goods will be paid for. The advantages of the PayPass system are the high speed of the operation and security - there is no need to transfer the card to the seller, the PIN code is entered only to pay for goods more expensive than 1000 rubles, the security mechanism does not allow paying for the same purchase twice.

For starters, the terminals will be introduced in the ECCO store on Filevsky Park, by mid-spring - in Kazan, and in the fall they will be operational throughout Russia.
