Ecco streamlines business processes
Ekko-Ros, the exclusive distributor of footwear of the Danish brand Ecco in Russia, is implementing Microsoft Dynamics AX for Retail. The goal is to improve the efficiency of management and development of the retail chain of stores, the company says.
The project is implemented jointly with GMCS. The result should be a single solution for the automation of the geographically distributed network of Ecco outlets in the Russian Federation. Ecco is currently using middle-tier cash register software.
With the help of Microsoft Dynamics AX for Retail, the distributor expects to reduce the costs of operating systems and managing the company as a whole, to optimize business processes in retail stores, improve goods distribution management, and increase the reliability of information flows within the network. The new system will also allow the introduction of a new bonus customer loyalty system, fashionunited.ru reports.
“The experience gained, we believe, will become interesting in the retail business. One of the features of the implemented solution is that we will be able to fully synchronize the operation of POS terminals even in the absence or failure of communication channels. And for retail, this is an important criterion, ”says Sergei Prokhorov, IT director at Ekko-Ros.
