By December 31, ECCO Russia will have a total of 7 new retail stores, all in new trade concepts: prime and pop-up.
Prime is a premium equipment concept in contrasting colors to create a customer-friendly atmosphere and effectively showcase ECCO products.
Pop-up is a modern concept for the development of retail stores, characterized by simplicity, speed, high mobility and high-quality product presentation within various locations.
Three stores have already opened: two of them are in the Prime concept (on December 5, a store opened in the Moscow Europolis shopping center, and on December 16, in the Novosibirsk Aura shopping center), one Pop-up store in St. Petersburg ( opened on December 7 in the shopping center "Electra").
Four more openings are planned by the end of 2020. Tomorrow, December 25, two ECCO monobrands will open at once: two Pop-up Stores in Moscow (in the Savelovsky shopping center and the Vesna shopping center). On December 28, the Pop-up ECCO will open its doors to visitors in the shopping and entertainment complex of the Sochi-Gorki Gorod (Krasnaya Polyana) ski cluster. And on December 29, a large Prime-format store will open in St. Petersburg (Nevsky Prospect, 22).
Also, in early December, the company began renovations in a new corporate office in the capital's Linkor business center, to which it is planned to move to it at the end of February 2021. It will be a new modern open space office in a Scandinavian style, highlighting the new reality in which the company will develop after globalization.
Recall that in early 2020, the Danish company ECCO acquired the retail business of its Russian distributor (the deal took place in January-February 2020). The Russian market is one of the highest priorities for the company, along with the markets of China and the United States. Currently, there are 215 ECCO retail stores in Russia, where all the lines are presented - women's, men's and children's shoes, an assortment of bags, backpacks and other accessories, shoe care products. As part of the company's further development strategy in the Russian Federation in 2021, the expansion of its own and partner offline retail (including children's shoe stores and the promotion of the Kids category), the development of new retail formats, online sales channels, the introduction of new retail sales technologies, customer services, logistics and optimization of business processes, building an image of a premium shoe brand in the eyes of Russian consumers.
