Econika increased sales by 16%

According to the results of 2011, the turnover of the Econika footwear network totals about $ 130 million. The growth in sales of shoes in pairs over the past year was about 16% compared to the same period in 2010. Revenue increased by 21%, while the average price for shoes and bags increased amounted to no more than 4%.

During 2011, the company opened 21 shoe stores. New retail outlets began operating both in Moscow and in the regions. As a result, taking into account several planned closings, which mainly fell on the shops of franchise partners, as of December 31, 2011, 142 stores were included in the chain. Of these, 108 are under the direct management of the company and 34 operate under a franchise scheme. At the end of the year, Econika is represented in 49 regions of Russia (21 have opened their own facilities, 28 have franchise parterres' salons).

In 2011, the network’s loyal customer base increased by 20% in direct management regions and by 73% among franchisees, totaling more than 670 people. At the same time, the share of purchases on discount cards of the network of the total number of purchases amounted to 000%, retailer.ru reports.

The Econika shoe cassette chain, which is part of Novard Group of Companies, has existed on the market since 1992. As of March 2, 2012, the chain includes 144 salons (since the beginning of the year, two salons were opened - in Khabarovsk and Barnaul). Starting from the spring-summer season of 2011, the network has presented an exclusively women's range of footwear and accessories of branded brands: Alla Pugachova, RiaRosa and De'Marche. Collections are sewn at factories in Italy, Brazil, China, Spain, Germany and India under the supervision of Russian and foreign managers and technologists of the network.
