On July 31, a new flagship store of the EKONIKA chain opened. The third flagship of the brand of shoes, bags and accessories is located on two floors of the capital's Atrium shopping mall.
The retailer allocated a separate space on the ground floor to display the Ekonika Premium collection, while the second floor was dedicated to the basic EKONIKA collection. The total area of the store is 329 sq.m. The two levels of the store are connected by an internal elevator. The entrance to the store is accessible from both the first and second floors.
The new level for the brand team was to strengthen the premium and modern concept in the space - this is how the idea was born to separate zones for the Ekonika and Ekonika Premium collections, as well as to take a step into a new area at the intersection of design, art and fashion. As a result, bright accents appeared in the store - designer furniture from the EDxxKAT bureau.
“The new space is distinguished by a clear division of brands and collections by floor. But at the same time, the design concept allows you to maintain visual unity. For the first time, we are integrating design pieces from EDxxKAT into the space, which makes it special. And we plan not to stop there,” comments Yulia Bulgakova, director of marketing communications at EKONIKA.
For the new EKONIKA flagship in the Atrium shopping center, the EDxxKAT design team created chairs, an armchair and a coffee table in the brand’s signature shades: sky blue, bright orange, white and silver. The founders of the project, Eduard Eremchuk and Katya Pyatitskaya, repeated the shape of the Alien chair model with its recognizable silhouette and glossy polished finish in furniture for the store.
The store in the Atrium is already the third EKONIKA flagship in the capital. Today, the new concept also opens flagship stores in the Afimall and Metropolis shopping centers.
Retail outlets of the chain in the new design are also open in the Moscow shopping centers “Kuzminki Mall” and “Salaris”. In addition, by the end of the year, stores are expected to open in Moscow's Columbus, as well as in shopping centers in other cities - Orenburg, Krasnodar, Khabarovsk.
