Export of Russian shoes to Ukraine in 2016 year tripled

In 2016, the volume of export of shoes from Russia to Ukraine in monetary terms grew three times and amounted to 1, 17 billion rubles. Such data are provided by Fashion Consulting Group with reference to customs statistics.

It is also noted that last year Ukraine took third place among the countries - the main buyers of shoes from Russia. Its share in the total export volume of Russian shoes increased from 4% in 2015 to 10% in 2016. The first place in terms of shoe purchases from Russia in 2016 was taken by Kazakhstan (37%), the second - Belarus (35%).

In general, the volume of export of shoes from Russia in 2016 amounted to 11,7 billion rubles in monetary terms, the annual growth in exports of Russian shoes amounted to 21%.
