Exported postal items increased by 48% compared to the first half of 2017, exceeding 2 million items, writes Kommersant, citing Russian Post statistics.
In total, in the first half of the year, Russian Post processed 191,3 million international postal items with commodity investments, which is almost 30% more than in the same period in 2017. AliExpress, Joom, Pandao and eBay became the leaders in terms of the volume of international mail in Russia.
China ranks first in the import of goods to Russia by mail, its share in the total volume of parcels is 73%. It is followed by Hong Kong, with a share of 11% and Singapore with a share of 3%, with 1,5%, Korea, Japan and Spain. Export from Russia by mail was sent to the United States, whose share was 25% of the total, to the UK and Germany (by 7%), as well as to Kazakhstan and Belarus (by 5%).
