The American rapper's first collection as creative director of fashion house Louis Vuitton was unveiled at the Spring/Summer 24 menswear show at Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday. She gave us a pixel pattern in clothes and rubber shoes, men's Mary-Jane shoes, ruffled socks and soft boots with bear paws on the sole.
The release of the debut collection of Williams, who had no formal training in fashion design, and suddenly became at the helm of the creative side of the Parisian luxury brand and took the place of the late Virgil Eblo, was a great intrigue. So the show made a lot of noise and became a grand social event, which was attended by many famous people, primarily the American fashion scene. Like Beyoncé, Kim Kardashian and Rihanna.
A bright accent of the collection was the pixel pattern on the fabric of men's suits and on the top of rubber boots, the abundance of which in the products, some fashion experts even considered unnecessary. This element, as it were, speaks of continuing to follow the concept of "friendship" Louis Vuitton with street fashion. In shoes, the new collection showed several interesting finds at once.
A series of men's black patent leather Mary Janes T-strap shoes made their way down the runway, complete with contrasting white ruffled socks. The second eye-catching model was fluffy oversized boots, decorated with Louis Vuitton's signature pattern on the top and bearing a bear paw print on the sole.
Classic men's black leather loafers, combined with white socks, brought us back to the world of dress shoes in their own way. Meanwhile, the look stopped on sneakers. On the runway was a series of colorful designs with white stripes on the front of the toe that looked a bit like bowling shoes and also went with wrinkled white socks and shorts.
