Fashion Galaxy does not plan to close the network

The Fashion Galaxy shoe chain of multi-brand stores has officially denied the rumors about the closure of the chain, which began to appear in connection with the closure of several stores - in the shopping centers Kaluzhsky, Schuka and Atrium.

“Indeed, due to the difficult economic situation in the Russian Federation, fluctuations in the exchange rate, we will be forced to close some stores, but only unprofitable ones - this is a healthy optimization of the business,” said a spokesman for the company. - With an optimal ratio of rental rates to sales, stores will continue to operate. This applies to all retail players and not only, as this is the general trend of retailers in Russia. The network is still working and adapting to new conditions. As for prices, we have very selectively and insignificantly raised them by some positions, which in the end has almost no effect on the average bill for the consumer and continues to cause a rush of demand.
