Fendi is celebrating its 100th anniversary, the brand's show at Milan Fashion Week reflected a number of milestones in the brand's development, and the collection itself recalled the fashion of the 1920s and the then popular Art Deco style.
Delicate embroidery adorned both transparent flapper dresses and velvet shoes, as well as loose knee-high socks made of airy organza, which were paired with both feminine shoes and high city boots from Fendi’s collaboration with the American shoe brand Red Wing.
The combination of transparent golf socks with expensive embroidery with shoes and rough boots, with the light hand of Fendi creative director Kim Jones, may turn out to be a noticeable trend in the upcoming spring-summer 2025 season.
