Philip Plein Launches Anti-Counterfeiting Campaign

The German designer Philippe Plein has launched a campaign against counterfeit products, which is gaining momentum by strengthening the international brand protection program in more than 35 countries: in Europe, Russia, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and the USA.

Campaign Affects Retail and Digitalchannels and covers both social networks and banned sites.

As part of a German design policy based on the principle of “product excellence and respect for customers”, the Plein Group fights all counterfeit products that mimic Philippe Plein’s brands.

This strategy is primarily aimed at protecting consumers from any manifestation of fraud. Another task is to strengthen long-term trusting relationships with our international audience and offer her products made in accordance with high quality standards.

In consultation with the Italian intellectual property leader Barzanò & Zanardo, Philippe Plein developed a global strategy with an action plan to combat counterfeiting in the regions. The brand has already carried out a significant number of direct interventions, during which about 50 units of counterfeit goods have been seized since January this year.

At the same time, within the digital environment, a team of lawyers with the support of Markmonitor is engaged in the elimination of advertising fakes on Facebook, Instagram and other social networks, as well as cleaning the Internet from an impressive number of sites and online auctions.
