A working group of a pilot project on shoe marking is being formed

An event was held at the site of the Ministry of Industry and Trade dedicated to the launch of a pylon project for labeling light industry goods. At which the main stages of the project were identified and a working group of business representatives began to form.

The event of the Ministry of Industry and Trade was attended by manufacturers, importers, distributors, business associations and industry associations. Among them: "Business Russia", the Association of retail companies, the Association of online trading companies, IKEA, "Sportmaster" and others. Following the meeting, a number of companies took the initiative to join the working group.

Vera Volkova, Head of the Light Industry Project of the Center for the Development of Advanced Technologies, outlined the stages of a pilot project for marking shoes. The first stage of preparation for the experiment will be working meetings with entrepreneurs. They are needed in order to find out the features of business processes that need to be reflected in the system for its effective operation. In November 2018, technical preparation for the pilot will begin, and market participants will start connecting to the system from December. In January 2019, their work in the system will be tested: ordering marking codes, marking, entering goods into circulation, circulation and withdrawal from circulation through online cash desks. During the second phase of the pilot project - from June to October 2019 - active work in the system will begin and preparation for the launch of mandatory labeling.

At the end of the 2017, Russian President Vladimir Putin approved the November decision of the Government to create, until the 2024, the Unified National System for Digital Marking and Tracing of Goods based on a single operator - the Center for the Development of Advanced Technologies. Honest SIGN will work in the format of public-private partnership. On 3 of May 2018 of the year, the Government approved a list of new goods subject to mandatory labeling from December 2019 of the year. It included knitted blouses, coats and short coats, raincoats and jackets, windcheaters and wind-shelters, bedding, dining room, toilet, kitchen linen and shoes. The Center is ready to begin labeling of new product groups in a short time, due to the scalability of the Honest SIGN. For a comfortable transition to labeling, the company will work with the business on all solutions and technologies during pilot projects.

Advanced Technology Development Center (MDG) created to implement large-scale projects in the digital economy, forms the necessary expert and technological infrastructure for such projects. The MDCT is a joint project of USM Holdings (Peter-Service, 50%), Rostec Group of Companies (Avtomatika concern, 25%) and Elvis-Plus Group A. Galitsky (25%). The MDCT, on the basis of a public-private partnership, implements a digital marking and tracing system for goods in Russia and the EAEU.
