Longchamp, the French premium brand of leather goods, selects new students to its workshops. No special skills are required other than motivation, writes Worldfootwear.com.
Workshops founded by Longchamp in France select students regardless of age or level of education. However, the recruitment of new trainees follows strict rules, starting with motivational writing and numerous meetings with teams. After that, Longchamp offers three months of training and six months of training in workshops.
In September 2018, the brand opened its sixth production site in France, employing 150 people. Of Longchamp's 800 employees, between 30 and 60 retire each year, requiring constant staff renewal.
