French shoe brand Paraboot launches new factory in France

On June 9, a new shoe factory of the French brand Paraboot was launched. The factory will be located on 11000 square meters in the town of San Jean de Moran, located near Grenoble. 9 million euros were invested in the construction of the production site, writes ledauphine.com.

The company Richard-Pontvert, which produces shoes under the Paraboot brand, has existed since 1908 of the year. The construction of a new production site was caused by the desire to modernize production and optimize the logistics of the enterprise. The new factory has the best lighting and ventilation system, two lines for the production of a wide range of shoes, an automated line for the production of sneakers and special shoes. The factory has 100 employees. Every year, the French manufacturer sells 180-220 thousand pairs of shoes. It is planned to produce up to 120 thousand pairs at the new production site.

According to company representatives, over the past year, the export volume of Paraboot shoes has been doubled, largely due to the demand for these shoes in Japan. Increased demand for products pushed the company to invest in expanding production.
