Furla increased revenue by 23% in the first half of 2017

Furla Group reported business results for the first half of 2017. The company's revenue in the first half of the 2017 year amounted to 238 million euros, which is 23,5% higher than the figure for the same period in 2016 year. One of the main growth factors was the increase in sales in chain stores. Sales figures like for like in Furla's own stores showed double-digit growth.

Sales in Asian countries in the first half of 2017 increased by 63%. Significant sales growth was seen in China. In South Korea and Australia, the company also achieved good results. Japan and the region (EMEA), including countries in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, showed 16% sales growth. In the USA, Furla sales increased by 3%.

The chain of boutiques of Furla Group today has 444 mono-brand points, stores are open in 100 countries of the world. Half of these stores are managed directly by Furla Group. The company's products are also represented in the order of 1200 multi-brand stores and department stores.

Recently, the opening of new Furla boutiques took place in London, in Amsterdam. New discoveries are expected soon in Hong Kong, Beijing, Tokyo and Prague.

In recent years, the Furla Group has directed investments in business development - in innovation, distribution, and attracting talented specialists (at 30 June 2017 the number of employees of Furla Group was more than 2000 people. During the 2017 year, investment in marketing and communications will increase, the company focuses on digital marketing and e-commerce: 2016 revenue of the company amounted to 422 million euros.
