The event organizers are developing a new platform for the virtual gallery so that the online exhibition can to maximize all the possibilities of a real exhibition event, which is traditionally held in January in Dusseldorf in the Areal Böhler exhibition space.
The virtual exhibition will have a reception area, a conference room for live conferences or live broadcasting of events such as DMI-Fashion-Day or lectures on fashion trends. There will also be a virtual space with exhibitors' stands presented in 3D. Exhibition participants will have the opportunity to place brand logos, image brochures and presentation films. Text and video chats will allow organizing communication between exhibitors and guests of the exhibition.
Currently, the organizers of the event intend to launch both formats of the exhibition in January - virtual and real. However, if the traditional offline format turns out to be impossible, the Gallery will only work online.
It should be noted that despite the efforts of the organizers, the German Gallery is still a local exhibition, not going beyond the borders of its country. It is for this reason that the event has experienced difficulties in attracting participants and visitors over the past few years, the main backbone of which are members of the SABU (Society of Independent Shoe Retailers in Germany, founded in 2017).
At one time, Germany was offered the opportunity to organize a large international shoe exhibition in Frankfurt, which could become a key event in the European fashion market.
