Geox Changes Main Target Audience

Geox has taken a serious interest in the female audience. The company, which until now has been known for its casual and sports footwear, has attracted new designers from Italy and France and has prepared a new collection of fashion and evening shoes. According to Mario Moretti Polegato, president and main shareholder of Geox, this is a completely new page for the company. He assures that women will soon become the main target audience for Geox. If only because women's shoes are sold the most - on average in any country 60-65%, writes fashionunited.ru with reference to Vedomosti.

Currently, shoes and sneakers under the Geox brand are sold in more than 1000 stores around the world, and stocks are traded on the Italian Stock Exchange. Geox has been operating on the Russian market since 2002 of the year. About a year ago, the company refused to work with the exclusive distributor New Step (also representing Ecco), deciding to develop its business in Russia directly. At the same time, a separate division “Geox-Russia” was opened, its office and showroom. At the same time, all Russian retail stores Geox open exclusively for franchising.
