In the new capsule collection GEOX autumn-winter 2016-2017, created by British designer Patrick Cox, you can feel the spirit of the 80s and the inherent freedom and androgyny of this time. The shoe style reflects the rebellious free atmosphere of New York's clubs and night streets.
The main features of the women's collection - chrome buckles and straps give a daring look to shiny black moccasins and purple shoes. Models with the same decorative elements, but made of purple suede with a leopard print, carry a more playful mood.
Bright blots of pink and turquoise in faux fur on the bootleg and slip-on tongue give brutal models a touch of artistry. Black-and-bronze-colored leather ankle boots with a pointed nose refer to the street and mischievous image of the Madonna from the movie “Susan's Vain Search”. Rubber embossed sneakers also refer to Run DMC's New York.
For men, Patrick Cox created shoes that combines two styles - neoclassic and punk. The futuristic design of the black and gray Mad Max sports sneakers is accentuated by the metallic coating applied to the worn leather. Tall models represent a complex, original design using geometric details. A distinctive feature of low models is in embossed toe.
Classic moccasins, boots and monks in the Panko-Gothic style are decorated with polished calfleather straps. The collection also has models of underexposed horse leather, which contrasts with polished straps and metal buckles gives the shoe a bright chrome color.
Collection shoes are already available at Geox stores.
