Geox introduces the Climasandal line with new ventilated cushioning technology
Italian footwear brand Geox continues to invest in innovation. On Thursday evening in Milan, Geox President Mario Moretti Polegato unveiled a new technology called the "Ventilated Cushioning System," which utilizes the natural movement of the foot during walking and a component integrated into the sole to activate ventilation in the shoe. This technology will be featured in the new "Climasandal" line for the Spring 2026 season.
The sole of this technical shoe consists of three distinct parts: the rear part, corresponding to the heel, contains a cushioning pad that compresses under the weight of the foot, activating airflow. Inside, air is directed to the forefoot through special ventilation channels and exits through openings, creating a feeling of constant freshness. The "Climasandal" sole is lightweight, approximately 40% lighter than a standard sandal sole. The technology is patented.
The line includes models for both men and women. Men's sandals feature a double suede or leather strap with a metal buckle, available in a range of colors including chocolate, hazelnut, and licorice. Women's options include a mesh version in colors ranging from antique pink to purple, icy white, and sugar paper. The EVA sole has a chrome buckle.
The second version features a crossover strap made of suede and nubuck leather with a metal buckle and is available in beige and black. Prices range from €89 to €119.
