Geox Tries Geox Kids' New Baby Retail Format

Italian shoe brand Geox opened its first Geox Kids in Moscow this spring. Until now, the Geox retail concept has suggested stores with a full range of brands, that is, men's, women's and children's shoes. Geox did not have separate stores for children.

A small store with a sales area of 62 square meters. meter opened in March on the second floor of the metropolitan shopping center "European".

According to representatives of the Russian branch of Geox, their proposal to open a separate Geox Kids store (that is, exclusively for Geox products for children) in Moscow was initially received by the head office of the brand ambiguously. The success of this retail concept was subtle. However, the very first months of the store's operation dispelled all doubts.

“Geox Kids has proven to be very successful,” says Yulia Dyutey, Marketing and PR Director of GEOX Russia. - For almost three months of the store's operation, there has been a progressive increase in sales. Monthly sales are twice the target. I think that the success of the Moscow store may be a reason to think about the full development of Geox Kids retail all over the world. " According to her, the company has now made a decision to develop the Geox Kids project in other shopping centers in Moscow and St. Petersburg, negotiations on the opening are underway this year.
