The Italian brand of shoes, clothes and accessories Geox has not bypassed the fashion for “reasonable consumption” and respect for nature. In the fall season, he released a children's shoe collection in collaboration with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF).
WWF is the world's largest environmental organization whose mission is to build a society living in harmony with nature. Representative offices of the fund are opened in 96 countries of the world.
The Geox x WWF shoe collection features 12 sneaker models: 6 for babies and 6 for kids and teens. Shoes are decorated with images and prints of animals: pandas, tigers, polar bears and others. The brand believes that in these sneakers, children will be closer to nature and will be able to look at our planet from a new angle.
Sneakers are made in the new trend concept of "reasonable consumption" - the upper fabric shoe parts are made from recycled cotton fiber, genuine leather was provided by suppliers certified by LWG (Leather Working Group), the sole of the shoe is made from recycled rubber by more than 20%. Boxes, tags are made from certified materials, and wrapping paper from 100% cellulose. Collection colors: smoky pink, sand, indigo, fuchsia, beige, black and brown.
The models in the capsule collection meet all the requirements for children's shoes: lightness, sufficient softness and flexibility, non-toxic materials and paints, insoles without chromium content, slip resistance. The shoes are equipped with a perforated sole with a built-in waterproof membrane that allows the feet to breathe freely and at the same time does not allow water to pass through.
Italian company Geox produces footwear for men, women and children, and also produces outerwear. The trademark of the Geox brand is patented innovative technologies that provide breathability and moisture protection for shoes and clothes in all weather conditions. About 70% of the brand's revenue comes from more than 110 different foreign countries and only 30% from Italy. Geox products are available in more than 10 multi-brand stores and 000 mono-brand stores around the world.
