ACBC (Anything Can Be Changed), an Italian eco-friendly footwear company, has partnered with Italian footwear brand Geox to develop a capsule collection of "sustainable" running shoes for men and women. Sneakers are made from innovative sustainable materials recycled and obtained from biological raw materials.
The sneakers feature a water-repellent, breathable outsole that reduces the amount of EVA (Ethyl Vinyl Acetate) by adding recycled rubber. The insoles are made from recycled foam that is 98% post-consumer and 2% water-based adhesive. The insoles are covered with natural cork.
In addition, the sneakers are made from recycled cotton and FreeBio, a leather-replacing animal material made from recycled materials and natural fillers such as wood fibers and calcium carbonate.
The sneakers come with two types of laces: one pair is made from XNUMX% recyclable jute fiber, and the second pair is made from material created from recycled plastic bottles.
ACBC also recently collaborated with the Missoni brand, resulting in the Basket '90 series of high and low basketball shoes, featuring the unmistakable styling cues of the Italian iconic fashion brand.
