Heroes of "Secrets of the Third Planet" and "Mowgli" appeared in the St.Friday Socks collection

St.Friday Socks and the Soyuzmultfilm film studio have released a joint collection with the heroes of the cult popular cartoons The Secret of the Third Planet and Mowgli. The socks are decorated with images of Veselchak U, Gromozeka, Baloo, Bagheera, Kaa and other characters.

The designers decided to abandon the image of the main characters - Alice and Mowgli - and focus on secondary, but no less colorful characters.

There are five pairs of socks in the Mowgli cartoon series. On the prints are the foster family, teachers and the main enemy of Mowgli. Since the black panther Bagheera was the only mentor of the human cub, it is quite logical that she is depicted on pink socks (by the way, in Kipling's book, Bagheera is masculine). It was Bagheera who told the wise boa constrictor Kaa that he was called an earthworm. But on the model of khaki socks, Kaa is completely different - it wraps around the entire silhouette of the leg up to the toe. Another teacher of Mowgli - the mighty Himalayan bear Baloo - stands on its hind legs, despite the fact that in the cartoon the boy was spanked on the fifth point because he runs on two. On the black-and-white model “You and I are of the same blood, you and I”, a pack of wolf cubs are brothers from the foster family of Mowgli. The only anti-hero in the collection is Sherkhan. Black socks with a tiger complement the image of his main fear and Mowgli's weapon - a burning torch.

On the prints of the set "The Secret of the Third Planet" there are also characters of the second plan. In the glasses on the model with Gromozeka, there is not wine, as it might seem from the color, but pure valerian. Exactly 400 drops - everything is like in a cartoon. A robot from the planet Shelezyaka, which has no vegetation, no minerals, no water, is depicted along with its gears and light bulbs. And the Govorun bird, distinguished by intelligence and quick wit, looks great on bright yellow socks even without additional entourage. The animal-bird-fish market inspired the creation of two models at once: blue socks with mysterious indicator creatures that change color according to mood, and turquoise socks with a flying cow Skliss. One pair is dedicated to the cartoon villain - Veselchak U is depicted along with his signature pistol.

This is the third joint collection of St.Friday Socks and Soyuzmultfilm. For the 2018 World Cup, a collection of socks based on Football Stars was released, and in 2021, the partners released a release with the heroes of Winnie the Pooh, Well, you wait!, Baby and Carlson, Return of the Prodigal Parrot, Crocodile Genes and Cheburashki" and the cartoon "Once upon a time there was a dog". Children's socks have recently returned to the St.Friday Socks range - the new children's collection repeats the design of the release with favorite cartoons from the Golden Collection of Soyuzmultfilm.
