The company's revenue in the third quarter of 2017 increased due to 50% growth in sales of the online store, the revenue of which reached 0,9 billion rubles. Comparable sales (alternative like-for-like) of the Detsky Mir chain of stores in Russia increased by 6,1%. (The growth in the number of checks amounted to 10,5%; the comparable size of the average check decreased by 4,0%). In the reporting period, 29 of new Detsky Mir chain stores were opened. The total number of stores of the Group of companies as of September 30 of 2017 of the year was 557.

Detsky Mir continues to improve its business model focused on the development of omnichannel sales. In particular, in the reporting period, the service of self-delivery of goods ordered in the online store was launched in any supermarket in the network, which could not but affect the growth in turnover. Thus, we have significantly expanded the range of goods for pickup from 20-30 thousand in the retail store to 40 thousand in the online store. According to the results of the reporting quarter, the revenue of the online segment grew by 50,3% compared to the same period last year and amounted to 909 million rubles, ”said Vladimir Chirakhov, Director General of Detsky Mir PJSC.
