GC "Detsky Mir" named the most popular prints for children

The leader in the children's goods market in Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, Detsky Mir Group and the fintech company YuMoney studied the demand for children's goods from June 1 to August 31 and found out that the products of the Cold Heart, " Paw Patrol and Hot Wheels.

It is noted that last summer in the Detsky Mir chain the demand for goods depicting characters from cartoons and movies increased markedly. Most often, they bought school goods with characters from the animated film “Frozen” – in total, almost 46 of them were sold over the summer. This is one in five purchased branded goods.

In second place are goods with the characters of the animated series "Paw Patrol". Last year they occupied only 11th position in the ranking, and this year they accounted for 13% of all purchases of branded goods. From June 1 to August 31, Detsky Mir bought over 28 items with Puppy Patrol prints. 

Third in popularity with a share of 11% of all purchases of branded goods (licensed) were 25 goods for the school with images of the famous Hot Wheels brand cars.

In fourth place in the ranking this year were Barbie brand products, 15 units of which were sold over the above period. Closes the top five products with the image of the heroes of "Harry Potter", which amounted to 13 copies sold.

Last year, the top 5 consisted of Frozen, Harry Potter, Hot Wheels, Barbie and LOL Surprise.
