Supermarkets of the Detsky Mir chain of children's goods were opened in Moscow at the Mila shopping center, in the city of Golitsyno, Moscow Region, at the Prince Golitsyn shopping center and in Krasnodar at the Skazka shopping center.
The first "Children's World" was opened in Golitsyno. The eighth store of the chain has already been opened in Krasnodar. The trading area of stores opened in Golitsyno and Krasnodar amounted to 700 sq. m

The Detsky Mir Group of Companies is the largest children's goods retailer in Russia. The Group comprises the national retail chain of Detsky Mir stores, the ELC chain of stores, and the Detsky Mir and ELC online stores. As of December 31, 2017, the Detsky Mir chain of stores included 578 stores in Russia and Kazakhstan, located in 207 cities across Russia and 12 cities across Kazakhstan, while the ELC chain included 44 stores in Russia.
