Detsky Mir Group continues to develop the Detmir network in the Republic of Belarus
On 7 in March, Detsky Mir Group of Companies opened the second store of the Detmir retail chain in Minsk. Shop area of 1080 sq. m located in the shopping center "Coolman". The company plans to increase the share of Belarusian goods on the shelves of its stores.
According to the 2018 results, the volume of Belarusian goods sold in the Detsky Mir retail network in Russia amounted to more than 400 million Russian rubles. Belarusian toys, goods for sports and outdoor activities, bulky goods and clothes, in particular, school uniforms and hosiery, are in great demand. In Belarus, the share of Belarusian products in the Baby Food category is about 35%.
The executive director of the Detmir retail chain, Andrei Belik, noted that the first store of the chain, opened in February 2018, has been showing high sales and customer traffic since the opening.
“Due to the large volume of purchases, we offer our Belarusian customers high-quality products at the most attractive prices. We believe in the success of our second store in the Coolman shopping center, and we invite our customers to buy favorably, ”he says.
Group of companies "Detsky Mir" combines the national retail network of Detsky Mir stores, the ELC chain of stores in Russia and ABC, and the Zoosaurus network of pet products. According to December 31 2018 data, the Detsky Mir chain of stores is represented by 673 stores in Russia and Kazakhstan, located in 237 cities of Russia and 15 cities of Kazakhstan. In accordance with the audited IFRS data for 2017, the holding's revenue amounted to 97,0 billion rubles, adjusted EBITDA amounted to 10,7 billion rubles, and adjusted earnings amounted to 5,5 billion rubles. Shareholders of the Company: PJSC AFK Sistema - 52,10%; Russian-Chinese Investment Fund (RCIF) - 14,03%, other shareholders owning less than 5% of the shares - 33,87%.
