Obuv Rossii GC increased the number of non-shoe products in its retail to 43,5%

According to the results of the 1st quarter, the share of non-shoe products in the retail revenue of Obuv Rossii Group reached 43,5%, in general, at least half of the sales for such goods will be in the year. 

In December 2019, Obuv Rossii launched the Sell online platform for working with suppliers and began to transform stores into marketplaces. In addition to stores, the group’s own online store also operates in a marketplace format. “The areas of our stores do not always allow us to display bulky goods, therefore we also use the capabilities of our online store, on the basis of which an online marketplace has been launched in test mode since March,” the company commented. 

For 5 months of this year, the company has significantly expanded its range: now in retail outlets and in the group’s online store you can buy home goods, toys, decorative cosmetics, books, small appliances and even bicycles. The number of suppliers of the Sell platform at the end of May amounted to more than 500 companies. 

GC "Shoes of Russia" Founded in 2003, has a headquarters in Novosibirsk and an office in Moscow. Engaged in the production and sale of footwear and related products. The company operates 866 stores (175 franchised) under the brands Westfalika, Pedestrian, Rossita, Emilia Estra and Lisette, and also develops shoes and clothing brands for an active lifestyle S-tep, all.go and Snow Guard and owns two shoe stores factories in the Novosibirsk region.

In October 2017, Obuv Rossii raised 5,9 billion rubles during an IPO on the Moscow Exchange; the issuer is PJSC OR, becoming the first public company in the Russian shoe and fashion market. In accordance with the audited financial results of the group under IFRS, in 2019, revenue amounted to 13,7 billion rubles, net profit - 1,7 billion rubles, EBITDA - 3,6 billion rubles. Included in the list of backbone enterprises in the country.
