The Obuv Rossii group of companies reported on the development of its own retail network in the 1 quarter of 2018. In the first three months of this year, the company opened 34 new stores in 30 cities of the country. The group entered the 10 of new cities.
Obuv Rossii launched its own stores, mainly under the Westfalika brand. As a result, the group’s retail network grew by 6% and on 31 on March 2018 there were 569 outlets, of which 113 were franchised in 163 cities.
“We are moving within the framework of the announced plans and are actively expanding the geography of sales: in 2018, we intend to launch 100 new outlets. We plan to open 60 stores in the 1 half-year, 34 of them have already earned in the first quarter. “We are opening stores across the country, increasing our presence in all regions - in Siberia, the Urals, the Far East and the central part of Russia,” comments Anton Titov, Director of Obuv Rossii Group of Companies. “One of our strategic goals is to be present in all cities with a population of more than 100 thousand people and significantly increase our market share.”
In the first quarter, Obuv Rossii opened 21 store Westfalika - the main brand of the group, 5 - Lisette, 4 - Pedestrian, 2 store Emilia Estra and Rossita. Geography of network expansion: the largest number of discoveries (12) was in the central part of the Russian Federation - 35%, Siberia - 32%, in the Urals and the Far East - in 24% and 9%, respectively.
GC "Shoes of Russia" founded in 2003 year, has a headquarters in Novosibirsk and an office in Moscow. Engaged in the production and sale of footwear and related products. The company operates 569 stores (113 operate on a franchise) under the brands Westfalika (single-brand shoe store), Pedestrian (multi-brand shoe supermarket), Rossita (a family-friendly store), Emilia Estra and Lisette (fashion shoe stores), and also develops brands of shoes and clothes for an active lifestyle S-tep, All.go and Snow Guard and owns two shoe factories in the Novosibirsk region.
In accordance with the audited IFRS financial results of the group, in 2017 its revenue amounted to 10,801 billion rubles, net profit - 1,310 billion rubles, EBITDA - 2,737 billion rubles.
