Rosana Peran became the head of the Federation of the Spanish Footwear Industry (FICE)

Rosana Peran, currently Executive Vice President of the Pikolinos Group, has become the new president of the Federation of the Spanish Footwear Industry (FICE). In this position, she replaced Mariana Cano, President of the Valencian Association of Footwear Manufacturers, writes Worldfootwer.com

The new president of FICE has worked for companies such as Tempe or ABGL and has held various positions within the Pikolinos group, where she is currently Executive Vice President. Peran also served as President of the Valencian Association of Footwear Manufacturers (Avecal) until 2015, as well as FICE Vice President and CEV representative in Alicante.

Among the tasks set by the new president of FICE is to increase the representativeness of the organization and the role it plays both in Spanish society and in the European Union. Peran believes that its historical trajectory, weight and relevance in the sector should find a match in Europe, "where many important decisions end up being made." Founded in 1977, FICE represents the interests of more than 400 Spanish footwear companies at the national, European and international levels.
