Golden Goose acquires its main sneaker supplier

On Wednesday, Golden Goose, known for its Superstar sneakers, announced the acquisition of Italian Fashion Team, the main supplier and manufacturer of luxury sneaker brand Golden Goose. The amount of the transaction was not disclosed, writes Footwearnews.com.

Golden Goose has acquired Italian Fashion Team (IFT) from founder and CEO Michele Zonno and his family. Zonno will continue to lead IFT.

The IFT factory is located in Italy in the Puglia region, it is one of the centers for the production of sneakers in the country. Founded in 2007, IFT specializes in the design, manufacture and distribution of high quality footwear for some of the most famous Italian luxury brands. In 2021, its team of over 250 employees produced over 700 sneakers. IFT and Golden Goose have been working together for seven years.
