Golden Goose aims to reach $1 billion in revenue

Golden Goose, which was majority-owned by Chinese international investment firm HSG last year, is undergoing a transformation that affects its capital, vision, and identity. The brand is now focused on Eastern markets. The company aims to turn this region into a source of revenue growth and is aiming to reach one billion in revenue, writes Laconceria.it.

Golden Goose's strategy extends beyond opening new stores. The brand aims to bring modern luxury to Asia, rooted in Italian craftsmanship, a clear message, and direct customer relationships.

The brand doesn't rush to create new collections, distancing itself from fast fashion. A key element of its promotional strategy has become collaborative shoe design with customers. Personalization reinforces the brand's sense of uniqueness. About 30% of Golden Goose sneakers sold are designed in collaboration with customers.

Craftsmanship is paramount. Products are entirely handmade in Italy, requiring over three and a half hours of production. The brand's pricing strategy is moderate, designed to respect customers and maintain trust in the product.

"We've decided to increase prices by 5% every four years, which is significantly below the rate of inflation. Respect for price means respect for the consumer, and this is what guarantees our continuity throughout our journey," says Golden Goose CEO Silvio Campara.

The first quarter of 2026 saw year-on-year sales growth of approximately 10%. Net revenue for this period reached €173,2 million.
