Gosha Rubchinskiy plans to open a skateboard store in Moscow

The plans of the fashionable Russian designer Gosha Rubchinsky are to open the October store for seiteboard lovers in Moscow, he said in an interview with Hypebeast at the recent opening of the famous London fashion store Dover Street Market in Beijing.

According to the designer, the brand Gosha Rubchinskiy is waiting for strategic changes. No longer will be released seasonal collections. However, Rubchinsky will continue to collaborate with Comme de Garçons, which until now owned the brand Gosha Rubchinskiy, and other brands. He will continue to develop his brand Dawn and is about to open the first cool skateboard store in Moscow called October.

Gosha Rubchinskiy was born in 1984 in Moscow. Graduated from art school and Moscow College of Technology and Design. He worked as a stylist - he picked up clothes for filming and helped designers. The ideas for the first collection of the Gosha Rubchinskiy brand "Empire of Evil" and for others in many ways echo the culture of the 90s. The style of the brand has, as it were, absorbed all the cultural layers characteristic of the post-Soviet period. This amazing mix of Western fashion-oriented skate-yard subculture, elements of the Soviet style and Russian Orthodox tradition came to the court in London, and then, in cooperation with Comme de Garçons, began to actively conquer the world fashion catwalk. Collaboration projects of the designer in the field of clothing and footwear include collaboration with brands FILA, Adidas, Reebok, Supreme, Carhartt WIP, Burberry.
