HÖGL develops network and captures revenue growth

The Austrian shoe brand HÖGL continues the steady development of branded retail in Russia. This year, two retail outlets were opened in Moscow in the MEGA Khimki shopping center and in St. Petersburg in the Outlet Village Pulkovo. In August this year, it is expected to open another HÖGL store in the metropolitan shopping center Metropolis. A new brand store with a total area of 124 square meters will begin work in the new shopping gallery of the Metropolis shopping center, which is scheduled to open on August 15.

Representatives of the HÖGL brand in Russia note a positive trend in the level of sales of brand shoes in Russian retail. “Despite the fact that traffic remains relatively low, the drop in sales has stopped, and in general we observe positive dynamics in sales and record revenue growth in ruble terms,” notes Roman Wagner, HÖGL CFO.

Currently, the Austrian brand's retail chain in Russia has 30 stores, of which three are open under a franchising system. The company intends to continue the development of its network, primarily in the two largest cities of the country - Moscow and St. Petersburg. Next year, HÖGL plans to launch its own online store in Russia with delivery to all cities and tackle the development of omni-channel, including the Pick-up in Store service and the brand’s expansion on social networks Facebook, VKontakte and Instagram.

HÖGL was founded in Austria in 1935 and is one of the world's leading manufacturers of women's shoes. The staff at the company's head office in Taufkirchen in Prama and at its own production facilities totals more than 1.200 people. The annual turnover of the company exceeds 100 million euros. The company sells more than 1,5 million pairs of shoes a year. HÖGL brand is represented in 40 countries.
