The Swedish chain H&M has finally curtailed its work in Russia. 172 shops were closed. New stores of Melon Fashion Group (Zarina, befree, Love Republic), Lime, Snow Queen, Turkish brand Koton have already opened in place of some of them.
On November 30, H&M closed the H&M flagship store on Tverskaya-Yamskaya Street in Moscow, which was one of the largest in terms of area and occupied three floors of the Akter Gallery shopping center building, about 6000 sq. meters. The company's losses from closing business in Russia are estimated at almost 13 billion rubles.
