Despite the challenging economic environment at the start of 2025, Hermès continues to gain momentum. In the first quarter, French luxury group Hermès reported revenues of €4,1 billion, up 9% (+7% excluding currency effects) compared to the same period last year, with growth in all regions.
“We have reached a record level, surpassing the very strong sales figures of the fourth quarter of 2024, including Christmas sales,” said the group’s chief financial officer Eric Algouet on a conference call with analysts. He also said the company intends to fully offset the impact of the new US tariffs by increasing selling prices in the United States from May 1 across all of the group’s business areas.
