Hermes will build two factories for tailoring leather goods

Luxury brand Hermes will open in France two new factories for tailoring leather goods. The enterprise construction project is designed for two years, writes worldfootwear.com.

One company will be built near Bordeaux, the other - near Paris. Each factory will have 250 jobs open. The opening of new production was caused by the growing demand for luxury brand products, in particular for its famous Birkin bags, worth $ 10 thousand. Thus, the company will be able to respond promptly to customer requests, and will reduce the queue for bags during the period when demand for luxury goods after falling in 2015 and 2016 went up again.

At the beginning of this year, the company has already expanded its production facilities in France.
