Hey Dude aims to increase sales to $1 billion in 2023

According to Crocs Inc., which completed acquisition of the Italian brand Hey Dude in February last year, in 2022, the shoe brand's revenue exceeded initial expectations and reached $986,2 million Crocs CEO Andrew Rees has confidently predicted Hey Dude's 2023 sales will top $1 billion, according to Footwearnews.com.

To reach the targets, Hey Dude will expand its lineup by adding a range of new athletic style casual shoes to the popular Wally and Wendy moccasin silhouettes.

This season, the brand's lineup includes four new models: Sirocco, a sneaker with a knitted top priced at $75; Conway, round vamp-style oxfords, $65; Sunapee - traditional slip-ons for $65; and Cody, low-top lace-up sneakers priced at $65. All of them are offered in men's and women's sizes and in several colorways, which are already available on Heydude.com.

When developing new models, the brand focused on such a parameter as light weight shoes. Another important factor was keeping the price affordable. Since the Wally and Wendy retail for $60, the new models should not have cost more than $75. It is noted that bohemia, westerns and the beach became the inspiration for the creation of new products of the brand. And in the fall of 2023, Hey Dude will continue to expand its range of boots and look for more options for cozy and gift options.
