HeyDude, the Italian brand of lightweight loafers that was acquired by American Crocs in 2021, continues to move along the path of global expansion, writes Fashion Network.
To increase its visibility in France, HeyDude has set up two pop-up shops in the famous Parisian department store Galeries Lafayette on Boulevard Haussmann: one on the ground floor in the men's shoe department and one on the fourth floor in the women's shoe department. The temporary shops will be open until June 3.
In a blue and peach palette, intertwined with elements that reference the world of pastries, HeyDude presents models such as the NXT, a moccasin reimagined in an urban and comfortable style, the Austin Lift, a mule created in collaboration with the actress Sydney Sweeney (around 85 euros), and the ultra-light Comf moccasin. HeyDude is available in France at Besson and also offers children's models.
Acquired by Crocs in 2022 for $2,5 billion, HeyDude was founded in Italy in 2008 by Alessandro Rosano. The brand, whose main market is currently the United States and whose homeland in Europe is Italy, achieved a turnover of $824 million in 2024, down 13,2% (€726 million).
