Textile and shoe imports to Russia increased by 9%

In the first quarter, imports of textiles and footwear to Russia from non-CIS countries grew by 9% and amounted to $ 50,4 billion, according to the Federal Customs Service.

Compared to the same period of 2010, in general, imports grew by 45,6%, these are preliminary information from Russian customs.

At the same time, imports of textiles and shoes increased by 9% $ to 1,4 billion).

Among textile products and footwear, the import of cotton increased by 22,3%, knitted fabric - by 13,3%, textile materials - by 12,1%, shoes - by 11,4%, finished textiles - by 10,8%, chemical fibers - by 10,7%, textile clothes - by 7,9%, knitted clothing by 4,7%.
