Shoe imports in June increased by 61,2%

According to preliminary data from the Federal Customs Service of Russia, in June 2016, imports of textiles and footwear increased by 2016% compared to May 42,5 of the year and amounted to $ 766,9 million.

Among textiles and footwear, purchases of knitted clothing increased by 70%, footwear - by 61,2%, textile clothing - by 59,3%, knitted fabric - by 12,8%, textile materials - by 10%, chemical yarns - by 8,9%, chemical fibers - by 7,9%.

Also in June of the 2016 year, compared with the data of the previous month, the volume of imports of engineering products increased by 12,7% to $ 6,605 billion and chemical products by 8,8% to $ 2,756 billion.

In the import of engineering products, purchases of mechanical equipment increased by 35%, and electrical equipment by 15%.

In June of 2016, compared with June of 2015, there was an increase in purchases of textiles and shoes by 9,2%, engineering products by 7,2%, and chemical products by 1,3%

The growth of engineering products in June 2016 year compared to June 2015 year amounted to 7,2%.
