Russian shoe imports grew by 38,5%

According to preliminary customs statistics, Russia increased imports of textiles and footwear from non-CIS countries in January 2017 of the year compared with January of 2016 of the year by 27,8% to $ 828,1 million. At the same time, purchases of shoes increased by 38,5%.

Also, the import of engineering products increased by 45% and amounted to $ 5 million, the growth in the import of chemical products amounted to 277,4% and reached $ 35,7 million in monetary terms.

The Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation gave such a preliminary assessment on February 8.
