Imports of shoes for 11 months decreased

According to preliminary data from customs statistics, in January - November 2016, the import of shoes into Russia in value terms decreased by 13,2%. The total volume of imports of shoes and textiles according to the results of 11 months of 2016 year amounted to $ 679 million

Also, over 11 months, the import of engineering products decreased by 10,2% to $ 7544 million

At the same time, in November of 2016, compared to the corresponding month of the last year, purchases of chemical fibers increased by 8,2%, cotton - by 7,8%, textile materials - by 7,6%, footwear - by 3,8%, while cost the import volume of finished textile products decreased by 10,4%, knitted fabric - by 9,3%, chemical threads - by 6,1%.
